Convert PNG to JPG
A screenshot or a photo saved as PNG can easily weigh ten times what it needs to. Turning it into JPG cuts the size dramatically with no visible difference, which is exactly what you want for sending by email or uploading to a form.
How to convert in 3 steps
Drag in your PNG files, as many as you need.
JPG comes preselected. Set the quality where it suits you.
Take the ZIP with everything converted and much lighter.

Frequently asked questions
When should I not convert PNG to JPG?
When the image has transparency, or when it is a logo, a diagram or text on a flat background. JPG fills transparency with white and blurs sharp edges. For those, keep the PNG.
How much weight will I save?
It depends on the image, but a photographic PNG usually drops between 80% and 95%. A screenshot with lots of flat colour saves less.
Does converting lose quality?
JPG discards information the eye cannot pick out on screen. At quality 85 or above the difference is imperceptible for photos.
Can I convert a whole folder?
Yes, drag the folder in or drop a ZIP, and take everything back as a single ZIP.
